The telephones sets were developed for, but not limited to, emercency or direct operation in the petrochemical industry, usually used in production, transportation and refining of oil and natural gas. Made from impact and shock resistant, corrosion resistant material and certified IP66 watertight, the A-JREX106-vb telephone is sufficient for wall, column or post mounting both indoors and outdoors.
Choice of telephone versions: analogue, driven by analogue line or SIP VoIP, powered PoE (or 12Vdc).

ATEX and IECEX Series Telephones are designed to provide safe, reliable communication in hazardous areas. the IP66 rating and impact and shock-resistant GRP hosing with urethane coated keypad provides full protection from the ingress of dust, dirt and fibres, harmful and corrosive effects of water spray, rain, sleet or snow, acids, alkali and lubricants. For temperatures ranging between -45 to +75 deg C. The weatherproof IP66 rating conforms to EN60529, guarantees optimum performance in uncompromising environments.
The loud ringer with quality clear audio is adjustable up to 95dB (VoIP / SIP) and 80-85 DB (Analogue). Additional external ATEX horn speaker (110DB@1m) and LED flashing beacons are available for use in noisy zones. The telephones are programmable by DTMF or via web interface (Version Dependent).
High impact glass fibre-reinforced polyester industrial housing and ergonomic heavy-duty design, with NPT conduit entries, a unique external telephone compromising off a robust handset and magnetic reed hook switch to reduce parts subject to wear, with a steel armoured cable and anti-tamper fixings. The rugged telephone is ideal for installation within heavy industrial and locations and can be mounted to either a wall, pillar or post (see our range).
Large urethane coated watertight metal corrosion resistant keypad with 20 keys, Numbers 0-9 with optional auto speed-dial (on demand), "LR" button for last number redial, "R" for flash recall and "M" for muting.
Programmable for speed dialling with a non-volatile memory. The hotlines simple functionality is ideal for emergency and service use. Simply lift handset from the magnetic receiver to autodial the pre-stored number or lift handset to receive inbound call.
Option for two internal relays with the VoIP telephone. The analogue version can be customised to include 2 relays upon request. Enter a PIN code via telephone keypad to open door or gate, sound an alarm, switch on a camera or light etc.
Induction Loop Technology is fitted to the telephone handset as standard to assist hard of hearing users.
Programming by way of DTMF for Analogue Networks and powered by Analogue Line. The VoIP SIP version is powered by PoE and programmed via web interface.
